The Collins family cabin in the Oregon Cascades was homesteaded by Henry Clinton Collins in 1913. The log cabin he built as part of the requirements to prove up on the homestead, while having some modernizations and expansions, is still the main house. These photos show the main house after the first summer, when it was half-completed, and Henry and Fannie at different ages.
